Cambios intrínsecos de la piel en el adulto mayor

El envejecimiento es un proceso natural caracterizado por una disminución en la capacidad para mantener la homeostasis, el cual puede ser atri buido a los cambios biológicos y a las alteraciones hormonales propias de la edad y a factores externos tales como la radiación ultravioleta. Se hace una revisión que presenta las diferentes teorías sobre el envejecimiento, los cambios fisiológicos, los hallazgos histopatológicos y las manifestaciones clínicas más frecuentes relacionadas con el proceso de envejecimiento.
