Enfermedades cutáneas no infecciosas de los genitales masculinos

Los órganos genitales masculinos pueden ser el blanco de múltiples enfermedades infecciosas y no infecciosas; en algunas oportunidades es fácil establecer el diagnóstico, y otras veces las manifestaciones son tan inespecíficas que crean gran dificultad.
En esta revisión se describe brevemente la embriología y la anatomía genital masculina; posteriormente se explicarán algunas variedades anatómicas normales, anomalías congénitas, enfermedades más comunes y otras menos comunes que deben estar dentro del diagnóstico diferencial de las enfermedades no infecciosas. Se excluyen entidades por transmisión sexual. Aunque en algunas de las enfermedades nombradas a continuación existen factores infecciosos asociados o disparadores, no se ha logrado establecer su etiopatogenia exacta.
