Criocirugía en niños

La criocirugía es la opción quirúrgica que permite tratar diferentes tipos de lesiones cutáneas de manera rápida, efectiva y a bajo costo. Este artículo quiere enseñar técnicas de aplicación en un grupo de patologías cutáneas que frecuentemente vemos en niños. Se dan guías quirúrgicas de cómo tratar verrugas vulgares, nevus verrugosos, larva migrans cutánea, granuloma piógeno, hemangiomas y malformaciones vasculares. Se hace mención breve al nevus sebáceo de Jadassohn, por su potencial de malignizarse; y al xeroderma pigmentoso, por su capacidad altamente destructiva y alta mortalidad.
