Prurigo Simplex is an itchy, recurrent and often chronic dermatosis, mostly affecting children. The clinical presentation consists of papules, vesicles and hyperkeratosis. It is often found in atopic children with a low socioeconomic background. The treatment is not always easy, topical steroids and antihistaminergic drugs tend to be inefficient. Oral steroids and other immunosuppressants among phototherapy are often used for this disease. It is key to be able to recognize this diagnosis and deliver treatment in an opportune manner.
