The following article presents a narrative review of infantile hemangiomas, taking into account that these represent the most frequent benign vascular tumors in pediatric age and that they must be differentiated from other vascular lesions common in this population such as vascular malformations and congenital hemangiomas. As such, a detailed description of both its epidemiology and risk factors, classification, clinical presentation, diagnostic aids and therapeutic measures for this type of tumors is proposed.
