Eccrine angiokeratomatous hamartoma: histopathologic diagnosis of an exceptional case. Case report

Eccrine angiokeratomatous hamartoma is a very rare vascular lesion. It is identified by its striking histopathology in which the characteristics of eccrine angiomatous hamartoma converge with those of solitary angiokeratoma. This case demonstrates the outstanding clinical presentation and the importance of the pathologist in recognizing this disease.
