Gardner Diamond Syndrome is an uncommon entity characterized by the development of recurrent painful bruises without an underlying organic explanation. In affected individuals, the presentation of the lesions is commonly related to stressful situations. This syndrome has been described to have a higher predisposition for females and affects almost exclusively adults. This article describes a case of a 9-year-old female, who presented a disseminated dermatosis which consisted of ecchymotic painful lesions, without a known cause.
