Abstract

Pyoderma gangrenosum is a severe and uncommon neutrophilic dermatosis that has been related to certain rheumatologic, inflammatory or malignant pathologies but it can also affect previously healthy individuals as a complication of a surgery. More recently it has been described in the literature an entity known as Post breast-surgery Pyoderma Gangrenosum which has characteristic clinical features and a rapid progression.  A propitious diagnosis and primary management are key for enhancing treatment’s result, where corticosteroids are the first choice of treatment. Here below we present a clinical case of this disease, its diagnosis, evolution and management.
