The case of a patient with severe respiratory pathology who consults at different health institutions seeking medical-surgical care for his problem without finding a positive response due to his economic inability to pay the costs of health services is presented.
Finally he obtains care in a public health institution. In the meeting with the medical director of this institution, his son expresses his discomfort due to his father's difficulty in being treated in the different institutions despite having a high probability of cure, due to the fact of his economic incapacity and comments that he does not If he had been attended to, his response would have been violent.
The case is analyzed from the principles of bioethics, especially the principle of justice.
