Abstract

Alopecia areata is a common form of non-scarring and recurrent alopecia that causes hair loss. It appears equally in males and females of any age, although children and adolescents are more commonly affected. We present a patient with diagnosis of neonatal alopecia, who responded to the treatment with topical tacrolimus.
